Workstation adapted to the operation

In the automotive industry and on light-industry assembly lines, single-purpose ergonomic workstations precisely adapted to a specific operation are preferred. An inspection workstation can be built the same way: we adapt the worktop dimensions, height, shelves and equipment to how and with what you work at the table.

Light, reach and surface

The ergonomic principles summarised in the Ergonomic workbenches category include even lighting of the work surface (500–1,000 lx) free of shadows and glare, a matt worktop surface, and material and tools within the zone of comfortable reach (400–600 mm from the body). At a workstation where work is done mainly by eye, these principles are reflected in the table design.

What can be added to the workstation

• VESA and keyboard holders,
• electrical boxes with LAN connections,
• perforated panels for tools and magnetic whiteboards,
• document holder, shelves and drawers.

Height-adjustable inspection workstation

If the operator is to alternate between sitting and standing, the table can be fitted with electrically controlled lifting columns: height adjustment is smooth and quiet (see Electric ergonomic tables ESSE).
