Choose a 10 mm slot for structures with a large span, higher loads or where the frame will be exposed to impacts and vibration (heavier machines, crane and handling structures, long assembly lines). A stronger profile bears more but is also heavier and more expensive – for lighter applications, consider an 8 mm slot instead.
