The Ford Transit is a large van available in many versions, so we always build the fit-out for it according to the specific vehicle body: length, height and drive type. We adapt the aluminium profile shelving unit to what you carry, to the millimetre.

The Transit is not the Transit Custom
The large Transit has different cargo area dimensions from the Transit Custom, which is why we design a made-to-measure fit-out for each separately. You will find the smaller ranges in the categories Ford Custom van fit-out and Ford Transit Connect van fit-outs.
Lengths, heights and drive
In our database the Transit is listed from 2014 in lengths L2 to L4 and heights H2 and H3, with front-wheel drive (FWD) as well as rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (RWD/AWD). From 2022 the electric E-Transit is added, including the version with Pro Power Onboard. The L3 and L4 share the same wheelbase and differ in overall body length.
Additional load platform and TECNO
When a van is so full that even carrying pallets becomes a problem, a removable additional load platform between the rear and side doors, above the wheel arches, helps. It can be divided with partitions, and its height can be fixed or adjustable. If you prefer steel, there are also TECNO drawers adapted to the dimensions of the cargo area. You set the brief: anything in the assembly can be rebuilt, changed or designed from scratch.
Installation
The structure is anchored to the reinforced parts of the vehicle body, and installation includes drilling into these places in line with type-approval requirements. After installation, an entry is made in the vehicle's registration document. Installation is optional: you can assemble the kit yourself, or order installation from us in Prague or in Slavičín in the Zlín region.

Yes, the entry in the vehicle's registration document follows after installation. The anchoring to the reinforced parts of the vehicle body meets type-approval requirements.
