Clamping slots and made-to-measure pull-outs
The basis is the omnipresent clamping slots: you can anchor anything anywhere in them, including your own elements. Alongside classic steel drawers we make made-to-measure pull-outs with a locking catch, which can be fitted with any plastic Euro boxes of various heights, Systainers, various types of boxes and cases. A made-to-measure fit-out means that we build the storage system to the millimetre according to the requirements that emerge from a consultation with you.
The system is expandable in all directions. And if a shelf part gets damaged, you replace only that part, for a fraction of the price – you do not need to buy a whole new tray or shelf.
Which Transit Custom you have
In our database the Custom is listed from 2012 in lengths L1 and L2 and heights H1 and H2, including the DCiV version with a shorter cargo area. From 2023 a new generation is added in lengths L1 and L2, along with the electric E-Transit Custom and the Multicab version. The larger Ford Transit has different cargo area dimensions, which is why we design its fit-out separately; you will find it in the category Ford Transit van fit-outs.
Installation
Installation is optional and the kit can also be assembled yourself. If you entrust it to us, you will find us in Prague and in Slavičín in the Zlín region, or we can come to you. We anchor the structure by drilling into the reinforced parts of the vehicle body, which meets type-approval requirements, and after installation the fit-out is entered in the vehicle's registration document.
Frequently asked questions
Can my cases and Systainers be fitted in the pull-outs?
Yes. Pull-outs with a locking catch can be fitted with any plastic Euro boxes of various heights, Systainers, various types of crates and cases, and we adapt them to your equipment to the millimetre.
Does the fit-out for the Transit Custom differ from the one for the large Transit?
Yes. The Transit Custom has different cargo area dimensions from the larger Ford Transit, so we design the fit-out for each of them separately.
Can the fit-out be extended or repaired later?
Yes. The system can be extended in all directions, and a damaged shelf part is replaced separately – for a fraction of the price of replacing a whole tray or shelf.
Where is the fit-out for the Transit Custom installed?
Prague, Slavičín in the Zlín region or the customer's address – whichever suits you. Installation is optional; you can also assemble the kit yourself.
