We build the Euro box shelving unit for the Mercedes Vito from aluminium profiles so that it fits your tools and cases. A ready-made product card currently exists for the Vito Compact; our vehicle body database also includes the Vito Long, Extra Long and the electric eVito.

Compact, Long, Extra Long and Mixto
From 2014 onwards, the Vito appears in our data in three lengths. For the Compact and Long the wheelbase stays the same and only the overall length changes; the Extra Long has a longer wheelbase. The Mixto version, in Long and Extra Long lengths, has a considerably shorter cargo area than the cargo-only Vito. The electric eVito is available in Long and Extra Long lengths.
Aluminium or steel
The basis is an aluminium shelving unit for Euro boxes – uprights with tiers for 400×300 mm boxes. If you prefer steel, for the Vito we also offer TECNO steel drawers with a locking catch, adapted to the actual dimensions of the cargo area, so this is not a universal template. The assembly is not a closed catalogue item: anything can be rebuilt and adapted to the cases and tools you load into the Vito.
What is settled during design
During design we fine-tune, for example, the number and height of the tiers, the layout of the boxes within them and the position of the dividers. A tier can be moved, added or left out entirely, so the assembly fits your equipment and the dimensions are not fixed in advance. Ready-made assemblies are being added gradually – each gets its own product card.
Installation
Installation is a separate service, not a condition of purchase. If you wish, you can fit the assembly yourself, since it is a kit of aluminium profiles. If you entrust it to us, we can work in Prague, in Slavičín in the Zlín region or on site at your premises; the entry in the vehicle's registration document follows once installation is complete.
Frequently asked questions
Is the shelving unit the same for the Vito Compact and the Extra Long?
No. Each body length has its own source data, so we design the assembly separately. Dimensions are also not fixed in advance – we adapt the shelving unit to what you carry.
Can steel drawers be fitted in the Vito instead of Euro boxes?
Yes, for the Mercedes Vito we offer TECNO steel drawers with a locking catch, adapted to the actual dimensions of the vehicle's cargo area.
How is the shelving unit anchored in the Vito, and will you drill?
During installation we always drill into the reinforced parts of the vehicle body, because we adapt the fit-out to your tools to the millimetre and the original anchor points would not allow it. This is in line with type-approval requirements.
Who will install the shelving unit in the Vito?
Either we do – we come to you, or we assemble the unit in Prague or in Slavičín in the Zlín region – or you do it yourself. You do not have to order installation from us.
