We build Volkswagen fit-outs from the same modular aluminium kit as for other makes, whether it is the Caddy, Transporter or Crafter. The dimensions of the assembly are not fixed – any part can be moved, enlarged or left out so that the shelving unit fits your cases and tools exactly.

Caddy, Transporter and Crafter
For Volkswagen we distinguish three model lines, each with its own sequence of generations:
- Caddy – the older Caddy and Caddy Maxi up to 2020, the Caddy Cargo and Cargo Maxi from 2021, and the Cargo PHEV version from 2024.
- Transporter – the T6 up to 2023 (L1, L2 and Kombi Crew Van) and the newer T7 from 2024, in versions including L1H1, L2H1 and Twin Cab.
- Crafter – from 2017 in lengths L3 to L5 and heights H2 to H4, with front-wheel or rear-wheel drive.
The year of manufacture is therefore as decisive as the body length: we list older and newer generations separately.
How to narrow down your choice
- Choose the model: Caddy, Transporter or Crafter.
- Determine the generation by year of manufacture, for example the T6 up to 2023 or the T7 from 2024.
- Find out the body length (L) and height (H) designation; for the Crafter also whether it has front-wheel or rear-wheel drive.
- On the model page you then choose the matching version.
Move, enlarge, leave out
The assembly you see on the card is not the final form. You can move parts according to what you carry, enlarge them for bulkier cases and leave out those you do not need. The aim is not a ready-made shelving unit from a catalogue, but a shelving unit that fits exactly your cases of tools.
- The clamping slot along the full length of the profile holds shelves, dividers and your own accessories and allows them to be repositioned after installation.
- The fit-out can be extended in all directions if your equipment changes.
Where the shelving unit stands in the vehicle
The shelving unit runs along the left or right side wall of the cargo area, or stands directly behind the bulkhead that separates the cab from the cargo section.
Steel drawers: universal and made to fit the vehicle
Steel drawers with a locking catch are a universal component of the kit: they can be incorporated into any assembly regardless of the specific vehicle model. TECNO drawer fit-outs take the opposite approach and are designed precisely for a specific commercial vehicle model.
Ready-made assembly or custom order
For the Caddy Cargo Maxi you will already find a ready-made assembly; for other models the specific versions are being added gradually. If you do not want to wait, choose entirely free dimensions, made to measure, as a custom fit-out – this suits the Volkswagen Crafter, for example.
Self-assembly or installation by us
The shelving unit is designed as a kit of aluminium profiles, so you can assemble it yourself after delivery. If you order installation, we will carry it out in Prague, in Slavičín in the Zlín region or directly at your premises.
Whoever does it, the structure is anchored to the reinforced parts of the vehicle body, i.e. the side panels and floor. Installation includes drilling into these places in line with type-approval requirements; vans have very few original anchor points. The entry in the vehicle's registration document is made only after installation.

Is installing the shelving unit in a Volkswagen mandatory?
