How to choose a fit-out for your vehicle

The procedure is simple: first the make, then the model and finally the body version. For commercial vehicles, the same model exists in several length and height variants (marked with the letters L and H, for example L2H2) and often in several generations. These details are what tell you which assembly to look for.

• Model and generation – for example the Fiat Doblò up to 2022 and the newer Doblò, or the Mercedes Sprinter before 2018 and after it.
• Body length and height – designations L1 to L5 and H1 to H4, depending on the model.
• Version and drive – electric versions, such as the ë-Jumpy or eVito, are listed separately; for some large vehicles the body is also divided according to whether it has front-wheel or rear-wheel drive.

On the page of each make you will find its models and, under them, ready-made assemblies for the individual bodies. Where there is no ready-made assembly yet, the fit-out can be ordered as a made-to-measure job with any dimensions.

Why the specific vehicle matters

A made-to-measure fit-out means that we build the storage system to the millimetre according to a requirement that comes out of a consultation with you. We adapt to the tools, cases and ideas of the customer, and because the body differs from model to model, the shelving unit has to fit your particular cargo area. No part is therefore sacred: anything in the assembly can be moved, enlarged, reduced or left out according to what you actually carry in the vehicle.

Shared platform: Ducato, Jumper, Boxer

What the fit-out consists of

The basis is an aluminium modular kit. Every profile has a clamping slot along its full length, so you can anchor shelving units, drawers, handles and your own accessories anywhere on the structure and change their position even after installation, without drilling into the profile again. According to your specification we add to it, for example:

• a shelving unit for Euro boxes – a column structure with tiers for 400×300 mm Euro boxes,
• aluminium pull-out frames with spring locking for plastic crates, Systainers or your own cases,
• steel drawers,
• shelves with organisers, trays or drop-down doors.

The system can be extended in all directions, so the fit-out can be added to later, and a damaged shelf part is replaced individually – you do not have to buy a whole new one. We have supplied turnkey fit-outs and conversions since 2009.

Installation and anchoring

Installation is an optional service. We can arrange it in Prague, in Slavičín in the Zlín region or directly at the customer's premises, but you do not have to order it – the shelving unit is a kit made of aluminium profiles, so you can also assemble it yourself after delivery.

Bear in mind that the structure is anchored to the reinforced parts of the vehicle body, i.e. the side panels and floor. Installation therefore includes drilling into these places in line with type-approval requirements – there are very few original anchor points in vans of this type. After installation, the procedure also includes entering the fit-out in the vehicle's registration document.
