Good organisation means the technician has everything for the given type of job in one place and does not have to keep going back to the vehicle.

Pressurised cylinders with refrigerant are fixed securely and carried in accordance with the applicable rules for transporting pressure vessels. Copper tubing in coils, insulation and brackets for outdoor units have their own stations so that they do not get crushed or bent. Manometers, vacuum pumps and measuring sets belong in padded boxes, and flaring and tube-bending tools in a drawer with shaped compartments.
