Fit-outs for electric vans
Electric vans have a lower payload than their combustion-engine siblings, because the battery is heavy. Every kilogram of fit-out therefore counts for more than before, and a lightweight aluminium structure is an advantage. The battery is usually located under the floor, so with some vehicles you need to be careful where you drill and where the floor is loaded. The wheel arches and the sides of the cargo area may have a different shape than in combustion versions. That is why for electric vehicles we always design the assembly anew for the specific version and do not take it over from the combustion one.

Electric vans are also often used as a power source for tools and equipment on site, so sockets in the cargo area make more sense. When deciding about charging and range, it is worth knowing that the fit-out and the load reduce the range, so do not overload the vehicle with unnecessary material.
